5TH ANNUAL GATHERING OF VOICES: ADDRESSING SEXUAL ASSAULT IN INDIAN COUNTRY

April 18 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

This year’s theme is “Standing Up. Speaking Out. Taking Action.” The event’s topics will include the unspoken issues of Oklahoma’s American Indian women that have been affected by sexual assault, how to take action against societal norms that promote violence against women, and we will honor the advocates that provide support for these survivors.

This event is free and open to the public. The keynote speaker will be Olga Trujillo. Many of Oklahoma’s tribal domestic and sexual violence programs will be present to provide information about their respective programs with attendees.

This year’s hosts will be the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Family Violence Prevention Program.
